Day 10 – Fallon,
NV to Cedar City, UT. 488 miles
US 50 is
designated as the loneliest highway in America.
Maybe not the that, but very few towns, but lots of changing terrain. You went from long stretches of straight road
to up and over mountains with nice curves and elevation change.
We took an
out and back in the Great Basin. Gained
about 4,000 feet and had great views of the valley below.
